Title: Kites could provide electricity for 100,000 homes

High-flying kites tethered to generators could supply as much as 100 megawatts of electricity, enough to power 100,000 homes, according to researchers from the Delft University of Technology in The Netherlands.
The scientists have recently demonstrated that flying a single 10-square-meter kite could produce 10 kilowatts of power, which could supply electricity for about 10 homes.

If you are wondering that it will take the same amount of energy to bring the kite back to a lower height, you are right, but I guess they have figured out some way to change the shape of the kite during downward path and to let gravity do the work.

I never knew this news was already posted in this forum. I was kept thinking how can i get free enegy in cheapest and in easiest way. Then today, i watch this on scifi channel and i was amazed that this simple kite could provide enough power in every single home!. Why it takes many years for us to figured this out? I gave up on making overunity device. Like the one said in this forum, although overunity is possible (harnessing the unknown energy) it was extremely difficult to almost impossible to replicate. And its seem hes right so i stop my ambition and i dont like to waste my whole life on something that only lucky or skillful people can do. Infact im already wasted 13 years of my life. I didnt even enjoy my fast life because where ever i go, my mind is always on this. Overunity is only for geniuses and im not the one of that. Im not trolling in this forum, im just saying the truth. Thats why im now shifting to alternative or natural energy.

I guess if you hooked it up to multiple circuit board like this it would be possible or a very tall tree to hang Antenna.
The second pic is the original from PJK pdf the first pic is my adaptation.

@marathonman (http://www.overunity.com/../../../../../profile/marathonman.88823/)

At first, I also like make a circuit like that to tap energy from radio wave but I realize the power it can produce is so little that you need to build hundreds of that to produce a kilowatt of power. I think its only usefull for powering a low power devices like electronic calculator and small radio. Anyway you are in wrong thread, this must be in tesla technology.

What if you used a system like this below. pulsing one side of the plates with a high voltage negative pulse and hooking the unit to the other side. its bound to pull in more power from the environment. and on that note would a dielectric layer of  (Barium Strontium Titanate) help or would it be a waste of time.
i am sorry i will not post on the subject no more.

.... i was amazed that this simple kite could provide enough power ....
This reminds me of the EnergeticForum  thread bolting genny heads on to the rear wheel of a car to get emergency electricity.

I find the difficulty is in sourcing generator heads in the UK. Cummins make them but the head is not much less than a complete generator set. In the States, there is Northern Star. What else?

Reminds me of an idea I had many years ago.

Probably would work on land, just drill a conductor very deep into the ground.

Instead of using wind drag, I hope that the electrical potential between high in the sky and low in the ocean is enough to cause a significant currant flow.
