Title: Organized Open Source Projects
Post by: brokenHorse0987654321 on August 21, 2008, 03:04:11 PM
After reading and researching on the topic of HHO and supplemental fuel such as propane injection it seems that everyone's efforts are singular in effort and group in feedback and result sharing. Even the American Hydrogen Association just has a laundry list of information.  Actually today it looks like they did not renew their domain registration. When the best source of information is forums, you know opportunity exists for improvement.  I also suggest that we should be careful about our search queries with search engines like Google.  The results of your search query should not be indicative of whether an idea is good or not. Google has lots of power just think of the implications of http://www.google.com/trends.

My back ground is Information Technology, specifically programming and operation system technology.  It has been my experience that instead of everyone reinventing the wheel, replicating everyone else results, or tinkering we should be more organized with a project plan, architecture and test teams.   If we divide up the tasks and work together we can get this solved.  Just like Linux or Java we provide the answers if we work together.

I suggest that we model our efforts like Java Sun or any Linux variation, with a good website, source safe, and exceptional testing.  If we are more organized, the funding will follow.  We also need to be very careful not to be very greedy like all the other inventor that immediately patent their half baked ideas, try to sell kits, or information.

We will need to be very careful because once we solve this issue the balance of power in this world will be thrown for a loop and we will probably be eliminated.
