Title: TurboToy's Junkyard Bedini
Post by: TurboToy on October 10, 2008, 03:56:10 AM
Hey all, this is my attempt at a Bedini motor to test things for my own.

Pic 1: My Coil
Pic 2: My Circuit
Pic 3: 1st attempt at wheel (wobbled above 20 rpm)
Pic 4: 2nd attempt, works great so far, runs smooth at ~ 270 RPM

I have:
-build bedini
-tested with 1 Ohm (passes)
-"tuned" for max speed with lowest current draw ( ~ 270 with 30-32mA draw)
-did one test run for 4.5 hours, seems to run smooth with no heat generation

Need to:
-put graphite in wheel bearing to run smoother
-get a discharge station set up

are you saying this self runs while maintaining the batteries charged? have you tried adding a load or is the wheel a load?

EDIT - also have you tried using capacitors instead of batteries?

can you please post the blue print of how exactly you put this together?

nice work

i have done lots with bedini motors   of course this works ....  lol

need any tips?

lol

shit i can make the coil sing all on its own with the swipe of a magnet...

i can also turn it off with the swipe of a magnet ...  but i used neos and air core...

here is the biggest tip for this you will need use a neon....  so you dont blow up your switches  when you disconnect the charger  8)

ist

oh i forgot to mention that i have over 2 miles of wire on 1 coil.... 22 and 26 ga bifillar  altho i changed the pot to 5 k and it keeps burning out...!!

hummm

nice i didnt see the neon the first time around...   lol

also a cap across the trigger or a bleed off diode i use a 4001 for bleed off it is dumped to my output but could be sent to a cap  to cut way back on consumption as in the ozone pattend  8)

on some of my other motors i have been playing with i used a reed and capped across it and it MADE A BIG DIFF....
