Title: A new way to look at pv...
Post by: christo4_99 on November 01, 2008, 09:59:27 AM
I assume that the electricity produced in pv cells is the result of electron excitement.A different approach would be to use a dense ferro or other(black) metal based(magnetic) solution suspended in a conductive liquid perhaps using a lens array or similar to excite said solution. It is my idea that even though we are talking chemical reactions here motion is,after all what we are striving for whether it be electrons or little magnets suspended in a fluid.

Silver bromide when hit with sunlight is reduced to the bare metal(silver) and is almost 100% efficient. Why doesn't someone creat silver bromide solar cells?Triffid
