I am not an engineer or study free energy, but having an insomniac night I had an idea.
Wind turbines only produce electricty when the winds blowing.
Therefore would it be possible to design a wind turbine that is some how connected to a mechanism similar to an auto winding watch to produce a constant turning mechanism, with the wind constantly winding up the spring to produce the power.
Just a thought.
On the same subject a wind turbine could be attached to a recirculation mill wheel ( something like Robert Frudd's ) to produce a device that will run a lot longer than wind on its own.
Hmm..you could use some sort of centrifical cluch like a go-cart uses

The auto winding watch gets its energy from the movement of the wrist of the user.
