Title: Energy are photons?
Post by: Magnethos on December 21, 2008, 08:57:06 AM
Hi everyone,
I was observing some videos about energy... while some questions have come to my head.
Why we see Photons in a sparkgap?

Maybe electricity and optic/photonic is related? I remember that I read some time ago a energy called Eloptic (electric + optic) energy. Hieronymous says that ElectroMagnetism is very similar to Optics, and maybe electricity comes from the photons?

Maybe when we draw energy in a wire, photons are travelling inside the wire?

UPDATE #1
By the Glory of God I have just found a very interesting article where you can read the different definitions of energy that you can read in the dictionaries and how the author gets a very interesting idea about merging different theories.

He also says in the text...
By this definition, the smallest quantity of "electricity" is the basic particle of electromagnetism: the Photon. (Yes, electricity is Photons, and NOT Electrons. Electrical energy is made of photons. Therefore electricity is made of photons.
