He seems to have them placed in order to brake it down.

Nice presentation. However, it shows a severe misunderstanding of the "energy loop" principle...
A hand is inputting the starting energy...
And, the loop is not closed....
It's interesting to see how the basic energy principles are getting
abused over the years....

I have to agree that he is imparting energy into the system by pushing the sphere into the field. I also believe that he has placed the stopper magnet in that position, far enough away from the start point to allow us to think it was on purpose. It was not. (again, in my opinion) He could have placed it right next to where he started the cycle but, it would not progress past this point. I hope he or someone proves me wrong on this, but I don't think so.

Perhaps the last two seconds are the most important, and I'd bet that Hans Von Lieven will be really interested in the concept. The Helicoidal path is surely going to cause more than a surprise because it can "extract" a lot of energy from the "pseudo forces".

I don't know if you have advanced in the experiments with the "decoupling" of the systems of reference, but I have been doing some thimking and tinkering and I have the suspicion that if you raise the ball in a vorticall path with, it "takes less energy" than rising it just at the same height but in a straight line. I have some fuzzy experimental evidence of that, too.
Now, combining it with a smot, hmmm. Hmmmmmmmm..

The "SMOT" basic principle is >350 years old.
Nowadays, the complete energy transactions can be measured. (although the theoretical part is more simple. ;D...)
No constant "self looping", no OU... In fact, it's a very inefficient setup.
If one would measure all the energy exchanges correctly, it would be obvious...
