Title: Glass diodes...
Post by: jadaro2600 on March 31, 2009, 08:30:28 PM
Sorry, I haven't the know how to tell you how to do it yourself, but I was wondering...

Does anyone out there have any idea how they make glass switching diodes?

any links would be helpful, since this topic is old I thought that it would be wise to ask another similar question here.

Ho do I determine the current drop across a correctly aligned diode?

I could just see what happens when i remove the diode and insert the ammeter, then replace the diode and not the difference..then make comparisons to the data-sheet information

hi,
here is a video of hand making a triode, not exactly a glass diode, but it might give you some ideas.
