Cool movie Joe! :o
Wow That looks freaky...
Good movie!
It is diamagnetic levitation, with a superconductive material, or maybe pyrolytic graphite, right?
thats trippy :o
Penn Metal Corp. here in Erie had a magnet that drove us nuts to look at too. It's a scrape yard and they turned the power off on the magnet and it floated with a loose line for up to 6 hours. We thought the iron pile under it had something to do with it. They were seperating iron for aluminium though an parked it on the aluminium pile and it did the same thing. That leaves us with a ???. Worst part of this is they traded for a new machine and the new one doesn't do it. Matter of fact the new one isn't even on a line it has an arm like a power shovel. We tried to chase it but it was parted out in Pittsburg and the magnet was already gone. Lots of things slip though the fingers and we always regret the bigger ones. Sorry we blew getting that but thought if I put the word out on this someone might spot it.
