Ok ill be straight forward, stefan in the newman machine forums time and time again you have stated that having the right materials in the commutator will free extra electrons into the circuit and that that is the real magic of the motor, you have also stated that you can recharge the battery without the magnet using the coil alone, so if so then cant we just link so many igniton coils in series and use the right contact materials to recharge the battery?
We could pulse the dc current into the coils using soilid state switching, we would use a diode to protect the solid state equipment and make a different path for the negative current back to the battery useing a bridge rectifier, after the bridge rectifie we would have a spark gap which would have the right materials to free up the electrons, seems straight forward to me.
Using a simple rectifier circuit with a spark gap can allow anyone who has a newman machine to get the correct switching time with solid state without destroying the circuit becuase the sparks and negative current dosnt travel back to the battery the smae way it came in so protecting the mosfet with a doide wont supress the excess energy.
I brougt two secong hand ignition coils today having this idea, i have no idea how to mesure ohms with my multymeter so i cant tell you how many ohms they have, i really dont know much about desighning a switching circuit.
