I just read this whole thread and found it quite amusing at times....
In the end the design as is fails, ,but the concept itself I found really interesting as well as Lindemanns deduction of linking the contemporary Piano hammer invention to MT designs and the wheel.

Also: the threads do not seem indexed for search, is this because of the new SMF version? Bit hard to see whats what at the moment...
