Title: Threat detection!
Post by: Cap-Z-ro on May 05, 2009, 05:10:37 PM

Is anyone else been getting this warning ?

The warning is on every thread opened...and indicates multiple threats from field to field.

Could the site have been invaded by a virus...other than the human variety trolling the threads ?

Regards...

So it isn't just me.

I was about to report that it only happened on the 'Tommy Reed' and the 'Chris W. Brown' threads...but it appears there may be more 'Threats' about.

Does anyone know if our computers are at risk ?

Sure hope it ain't some kinda NWO cyber swine flu computer virus.

Regards...

Many thanks for the hint.
The issue is fixed now and I changed my passwords.
Somebody  just inserted somehow an Iframe into the index.php file
so every page loaded another website in the background.

Please use a virus scanner to scan your PC.

You can use the free online scanners like:

@ Stefan:

Excellent job, thanks.  I was not affected by this but I know many that were.  I use Firefox and I only heard one report of someone with Firefox seeing this threat warning.

Fast work, thanks again.

Hi Stephan,

The php seems to be disabled in the reply  box. no quotes no url etc.

I cannot get the smily buttons to work either, although if I type the code for them they print out.

Am I the only one having this difficulty? or is it the site still?

Yes , for security reasons such PHP inserts
BBC codes are disabled.

The URL and glow and quotes are still working.
