Title: About Youtube
Post by: helmut on June 01, 2009, 09:18:40 AM
This Link might be fit to the topic.

I undertand it as parallel streaming channel.
Thats one step.
Now we need someone, who is able to write another tcpip protocol.

Such as not enterprise dominated .

Interesting.

A parallel chain of channels seems worthwhile. Each their own style, but the same unified video and data protocol.
Youtube has too much power, and apparently less than it was, and should be for the public.
A program or central website could distribute new vids to all servers at once, servers co-operating to add up statistics. If a server breaks the chain, the others will back up vids and statistics.
Something open source, but financially self-supporting. Who knows, Google ads? :-)
