I think it was a little dramatic but that's to be expected, they are after all trying to grab peoples attention.
Until I saw this movie I had not realized how much the ice caps had melted, I knew they had, but 40%, that's a lot.
The permafrost in Siberia was also a bit of an eye opener, if that methane gets released then the problems are going to accelerate, I'm not normally one for doom and gloom, but it's not looking good for us, the earth of course will survive, but I do wonder if us humans and other species will be added to the list of extinct species.
Sadly, we will not heed the warning until it hits us in the face. Man kind dislikes change. Mother nature will enforce the change. We will wind up like the rabbits and the island experiment. Overpopulation until many starved to "death" to ease it. Then it happened again and the result was the same.
