Its my latest work. Everything is in plain view except the square wave generator.

Incredibly cool. How do you do that?

I am putting a list of parts and instructions together presently. Will post here later. ---------- Not a lot to purchase-----------

What's that cool thing???? Alternating current in that black wire ring and couple of magnets in hand, the experiment for a complete idiot...
Hi Tom,
good videos.
Do you have a scope and can put a shunt resistor like 1 Ohm in series with the coil and show
a scopeshot of the voltage on this shunt resistor
when the motor is running and when the rotor is stopped ?
I would like to see, how the input current changes,
if the rotormagnets are spinning or are stopped.
Does the coil see the Lenz law drag or
are the magnets too far away from the coil
to backinfluence it ?
Many thanks.
Regards, Stefan.
Hi Tom,
does your rotor have more torque in the center
or at the rim (nearer to one coil side ,
as you hold it this way at the beginning of the video )?
