this is a new picture from my latest cell in a tictac box.
There are 2 alloy and 3 graphite plates in it and Walt?s
powerpowder also in it.
When I connect it to a 50 Ohm load resistor this cell
goes down to 0.7 Volts as shown in the pic.
Now after 15 minutes the voltage is down to
0.62 Volts.
Normally it stays a few hours over 0.5 Volts with this
50 Ohm load and only goes after about 12 Hours to around
4.8 Volts and after 2 or 3 days to 0.42 Volts.
So, if you give it a rest each day for a few hours, this
can refresh itself and then begin again with 0.7 Volts.

Now after 17 hours of permanent 50 Ohm load the cell voltage
at the 50 ohm load is down to 0.5 Volts !
this is still pretty good !
These cells have a very long lifetime, if you let them rest now
for a few hours and then use them again for 12 to 20 hours !

Here are 3 more pics of the TicTac box cell.
The graphite plates have sucked up the saltwater and
some corrosion can be seen as the crococable
also gets salty.
This can be avoided with a different design.
The voltage is still at this time ( after around 12 hours
when the pics were taken) at around 0.54 Volts
at the 50 Ohm load.

the shown corrosion is the reason why the cells should be sealed where it whould be no contact to air because thats the reason why the salt oxid collects on the top , the other part is the connection to the graphite plate's must also be totally sealed and sturdy with clips or any other kind ( screw, rivets etc.)
if you do it like I did with this setup in the tictac box using the original top of the box ( like the picture here)and seale it the remaining openings with good aquarium silicon ( normal silicon tends to stay more liquid and does not seal off well, you should not see this oxid build up.

Okay, I will try this.
My TicTac Cell was still at 0.48 Volt at the 50 Ohm load after around 30 hours.
I now disconnected it again for a few hours to let it refresh and then will start again.

Today I had started the cell again at 6 am at 0.75 Volts at the 50 ohm load,
this after noon at around 17 pm the voltage was down to about 0.44 Volts.
now at 23 pm the voltage is again up to 0.46 Volts at the 50 ohm load.
Do we have today a good X-ray night ?

Looks like a banking of cells, allowing some to rest and some to work by electronic switching may give you a very long life power source. With enough cells for TTL a good homemade power backup looks like fun and feasible.

I put six of this little cells together in series and get 6 volt no load, or 5 volt on a 100 ohm resistor for more then 1,000 hours.The bigger versions of my AG-Cell provide's even higher current for this and more timeperiod.

Has anyone tried to do a 'recharge' on these cells?? What I'm getting at is, would they take a conventional charging?? I'm not in the position to put one together.....yet.? I'm travelling so much with my job that I can't even build my 1/4 scale Tiger 1 tank.? I work in materials testing, nano indentation.? Seems the field has gotten busy lately. :(

yes I did extensive reasarch and testing , my AGC cells can not be recharged, any kind of charge applied to will destroy the cells capability to produce power.
To put this cells together and get the same output you need my special power powder and the plate's.
