Hi,
About a month ago someone posted a youtube link of a magnet battery, but I can't find it anymore. Basically he stacked thin flat magnets, paper, and round metal washers. A piece of paper between the magnet and washer. The voltage meter showed voltage.
The meter kept jumping up & down, but it seemed obvious to me that was because the meter kept switching back & forth between voltage modes. At lower voltage mode the input resistance, Rin, is higher. So for example, while it was in say 400mV mode, it would measure a voltage greater than 400mV, so it would switch to 4V mode, but Rin for 4V mode is much lower, so it would see lower voltage and would switch back to 400mV mode. This will repeat endlessly, making it appear as if the voltage was jumping around.
I'd appreciate it if anyone would post the link to this video if they find it. There are similar videos, but they're not the one, such as -->

Thanks for the links, but those are not the video. The one I'm talking about shows paper being placed between the magnet a washer.

Wow! It actually works -->
