Hi Guys some one asked me to have a go at replicating this old idea from our mr Hartmann himself, after searching here i cannot find anything at all , any one got a link to any of the discussions on it, here is the link , still working from 1997.

This does NOT work, do not waste your money!!! Holding up a permanent magnet to a rotor with small permanent magnets and seeing this thing spin is a fake , fake , fake. They are pushing a DVD on a "working" magnetic motor for $47.00.

The design doesn't work. That's why it isn't more or this stuff.
Notice the magnetic behaviour in the simulation, and you will understand why this will not work. The intention with this design was to make a pseudo circular magnetic field which is found around any conductor which electric current flows through. If succeeded with the design, the simulation would show that ALL flux lines in precense of the magnets would be forced in one direction only. This does not happen, and the netto field are forced equally in both directions.

i'm not asking for your opinion lowq... part 2 was to be forthcoming soon, i was wondering if it was made or not. so, unless you are personal friends with craig (eltimple) and know the status of this project, i really don't care what your opinion is. capiche?

I'm sorry for answering on behalf of someone else.
I am not telling you my opinion. I know the design quite "pesonally". It do not work. I know it very well. I have tested it. So there can be only one single reason Craig haven't showed up lately with this design.

OK, I didn't mean to have delusional fantasies of my skills (If it was that what you meant by me having megalomania), so let's wait till Craig come up with an answer to your question, with a confirmation that his replica did not work. It's ok with me, but I tought you could get an answer sooner from somebody who is more active here than Craig is, and from someone who has tried this very same experiment.

I can show you my results, but I have to rebuild it first. I tend to not keep things which doesn't work.

i meant that the reason you listed as "the only reason" is just a guess on your part. the reason could be something totally different from what you proposed. there could be multiple reasons...

was your test apparatus similar to craig's? what was your rotor weight, what kind of bearings were you using?
