Title: MagLev Train In Shanghai
Post by: Evogreen on November 11, 2009, 09:50:41 PM
Has anyone done any research on how the train works?

Here is a link to the technology info on the maglev train.

I am wondering if this same technology can be used to generate electricity.  Any Thoughts?

As of few weeks ago, the construction of the track looks very impressive.
The track was high off the ground and in very streight line.l

Get ready for shanghai expo in about 6 months.

thats a good idea, they mentioned something that resulted in later movement instead of torque, so there might be something there
