Title: Cheap electro-magnet (not DIY) supplier
Post by: lancaIV on March 11, 2006, 02:07:13 PM
Is there somewhere a cheap e-magnet source known ?
The conventional e-magnets are in the 450 Euro/kg-zone(f.e.Maccon),
a little(min. 75%,at first) too expensive,okay,my opinion !
I can not see a great material/production technique difference
between them and the transformer/transformator,
so why the great price difference to transformer price class:+/- 20Euro/Kg? (base:Conrad electronic;trademark elma, era)
The idea:von Heyer(DE3900890,page5,line16),electro-magnets instead of permanent-magnets :
Electro-Dynamic-Transformer
