some intuitive incite about what I think will happen when Mars becomes an established colony.
any Human child conceived and born on Mars is a Human Martian.
1. Martians and Earthlings will share their technologies.
2. Martians will have trade wars with Earthlings.
3. Martians will establish their own crime lords.
4. Martian Military will be established.
5. Mars gets an established independent Governments of it's own in separate regions.
6. Mars will go to war with Earth at least once or twice in the distant future.
7. Civil wars will break out among colonies.
8. Racism continues even on Mars except now there are Rascist against Earthling in general along with other Martian regions.
9. Martian Christians.
10. Martian Muslims.
11. bla bla bla.
well, it will be fun to establish the ability to colonize another world but it will just bring our troubles with them.
what do you think?
the first colony on mars will likely be a lot of scientist
12? The more things change, the more they stay the same...?

Hi Lee,
Yes to all your predictions. You are just extrapolating human nature.
This one is my favorite.

Then, of course, there will be the immigration question. Are you an illegal ALIEN (LOL).
Regardless, we do need to go there and do some terra-forming and establish a human colony. Our population is growing rapidly, and we will need to go there for that reason alone.
I do like your thoughts on it though.
lol
you do realize all planets have piramids
you know what they are dont you ....
mars has life as do all others ..
problem is ... there ALL GETTING HOT ...... hummmmmmm
ist
tell me how they got to mars ... lol when your ships wont go through the ioniosphere ... at that time ... they may well now ... how ever ... that may be a lie ... you never know ...
i know why david hammels ships go through ... O RIGHT WHERE DID HE GET HIS WORK ....
right ... the egyptians.... imagine .... and tesla ... right ,,, my parents .... right ...
my my my
ist! says i yi yi
digg in deep ... last thing you need to worrie is mars attacking ... 71 species here now ready to shoot down all but 1 ship ... 1 enters and 1 leaves ....
do you know what this is .. and why a human will never build 1 .. nor can build 1 ...
i do cuz i invent the damm thing ...
sheesh ...

About terrraforming:
I said on a space-related site that terraforming Mars would require making it more massive, or else we would be wasting our time with such a small, light palnet. Add icy comets and Kuiper Belt objects by any means whatsoever to get them there.
(There are several ideas on doing that on this site alone.)

Thanks. I think long and hard on the subjects of this site.

But wont that gravity changing idea screw-up the solar path of all the other planets ?
No not really, how often do we pass by mars in a year?

The Martian period of yearly rotation is about twice Earth's. What ever the proportion is? Twice?

So that is two days out the year less sun light? Sound about right to everyone else?
no sh!ft!
damm bro..
thats intresting you say that ...
lol we going back to the 360 day cycle ... hummmm
like i said i dont have all the answers .. how could i ... i know where to look tho ...
sound about right ...
ist!
I just using logical reasoning. I have no idea what the real number would be.

The Martian 'day' is about the same length as an earth day, but the yearly orbit is about 2 years long. 'Seasons' are about twice as long.
