Title: Kinetic Sculpture
Post by: billmehess on May 02, 2010, 10:02:31 PM
I went to a art show In Portland Oregon today and saw this. It will run for about 10 minutes before stopping. Really interesting. The artist website is www.kenkinetic.com.
You can view some more of these kinetic sculptures there. This one he put on you tube and calls it Thor's Hammer. He starts it by pushing the large hammer at the base.

There are several kinetic sculptures with similar arrangements on youtube. They seem to run for a long time but take nothing to stop. They are a cool toy though, and not easily discounted for their reactions.
