In there I found an interesting passage.
" Zechariah 12:
2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it."

Excellent post.
Yeah, I too saw that. It looks like some VERY interesting times are coming.

Glad I read the book. Nothing is a surprise in this movie. The amazing thing is the chaos perpetrators can't see themselves in the plot. What a strange thought process to disregard failures based on non belief. It truly is a stumbling block to the prideful.

Here`s what I read is in the bible, Numbers 18:17 "But the firstborn of an ox or the firstborn of a sheep or the firstborn of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy. You shall sprinkle their blood on the altar and shall offer up their fat in smoke as an offering by fire, for a soothing aroma to the LORD
Seems to me someone likes blood splashed all about and to smell the fats of animals burned. Kinda reminds me of voodoo, where they cut the chickens head off and dance around splashing blood everywhere with it, such dont sound a bit holy nor a holy act to me,,just an opinion
Think it through. Nations revere highly their countrymen who shed their blood and the blood of their enemies. Such having a 'soothing' effect on the masses. Christ, the first born of all of our Father's creation, willingly gave up his life blood on behalf of others.
What is their in all the world that is truly good and lasting which doesn't involve loyalty and sacrifice? The critical issue is not that sacrifice is good, as that is already firmly established in history, but what and more importantly Who, is worth sacrificing for? If a mate cheats on his or her spouse, what are they required to do to demonstrate they will be loyal in the future? When one is wronged, recompense is required. "I'm sorry" doesn't cut it. One must show by actions that one is sorry. By giving of the 'firstfruits' of their own flocks, whose blood would have been shed to satisfy their bellies, men were given a chance to demonstrate contrition for willful sin. By giving their of their best, they showed Loyalty to their Creator above their own selfish desires.
It is all to easy and tempting to judge God, while absolving ourselves of all manner of iniquity against self, others and our Creator.

Unlike man, their is a Truly compelling and lasting method to what some see as God's madness.

God,,zeus was god in the roman days,,the head god,,main god,,most powerful,,where is zeus now? Who remembers zeus? The world is full of many religions, and god/s. Always has been in fact. Like fads god/s and religions come and go,,just like zeus did. In a thousand years no doubt more different gods will even be worshiped same as they were long ago. Its a common theme with humanity. This is not to say there is no god,,truth is I dont know, and truth is those who say they know god/s, know no more then I do, all they have is a story, a book, and what others tell them, thats it,,and thats the truth. Its not so hard to face that truth, no one knows, humanity never even did, thats why its gods come and go like fashion fads.
As to the blood baths,,sorry its just not holy at all, dont think anything will change my opinion of that. Just cant see killing innocent animals and splashing their blood about as holy,,sorry...

In the near times ahead...2010 through 2028, there will be many in the state of hopelessness. To their avail... The hopeful during this time period are the only ones who have a chance.
why?
It is a matter of where one places their faith and allegiance. If it is in world based systems or solutions, then they will be without hope. If they place it in better things, the hope will be there and they just might make it through what is to come.
come on Cap, climb aboard...
Why place hope in death, you have no idea if you survive death,,and if you do from all the research and ghost stories Ive studied and heard,,it might not be so pleasant on the other side. You see our problems are in our head,,they go with us wherever we go. If your mind goes with you to the other side,,then so does your problems. Sure some may be solved,,but many will not be,,and others will even become of it. Its sad to me people have hope for something better in death. Humanity could make a heaven on earth, its not impossible, perhaps hard but not impossible. Its also sad to me so many hope some god or gods will come from above to save them. Yes I know humanity has had so many gods in the ages past,,so many religions came and went,,all with the hope some god/s will come to save them. Its a nice thought, but I really doubt a god,,or god/s are coming to save you. And from what little evidence humanity has about those on the other side,,they dont seem to be any better off then we are, nor are they in any heaven where all their problems magically just disappear. Do some research, hear a few ghost stories, listen to some evp recordings,,you cant do no worse there then you can with any story book ages old about some religion. This is just one mans opinion and this is the truth Ive came across. Perhaps when someone can offer absolute proof,,one way or another we all might know more.

Hope in death? Not logical.
Other side? None. The dead are aware of nothing.
Ghosts? Are not humans after death. Dead humans aware of nothing. These things are something else and aren't your friends. Friends of the opposer most likely. Their misery their own problem.
Being saved? Probable. Most will get a clue when they wake up again. A second time around so to speak. 100 years of judgement. Pass/Fail scenerio. But it is said that even then some do not get it. So a second and final death it is for them. No more waking up. No more chances. Their choice.
As it is written...
