Big builders' suppliers like B&Q in the UK do not seem to know the
difference between iron and steel. Several suppliers admit that their
"wrought iron" is actually mild steel.

Where can iron be bought in the UK?

(Apart from Goodfellow.com,(R&D dept.), who want Â£53 for a four inch length
of 1" tube).
