I don't see anything of significance in the video - I have built devices that do the same as the result of some Howard Johnson experiments. The problem is that the video shows a starting point and an end point for the shuttle magnet's travel but not a continuous motion i.e. a circular 360 degree motion whereby the magnet passes the original starting point and does not stop. A convincing test of this type of device is if you place the magnet at any 'positive' movement point on the track and it continues forward and therefore the force does not rely on a starting point that has no magnets. In the video the shuttle magnet was only ever placed at the start of the rail.
Incidently, after some experiements with the Howard Johnson type magnet configuration I think it has potential - the problem for me was that the magnet size, shape and positions are crucial and that required machining micro positionable magnet housings that I don't have the resources to create.

I did watch, and heard the theory. But this is simply another case where the initial attraction will propel the carrier magnet down the neutral track and LOOK like it has some type of gain.
Once the track is closed, there is no more start attraction and the carrier magnet will not travel at all.
Way to easy to test, just connect a string to the carrier magnet and allow it to move down the track at a controlled speed. After the first magnet it will just stop because there is no other drive through the remainder of the track.
