Hi Everyone;
I found an interesting article about a Mexican scientist named Arturo Solis Herrera that made a discovery while researching photosynthesis in humans!
"Mexican scientist discovered how to develop an "infinite stack" that generates electricity from water and melanin. The discovery of a biochemical process, which from a molecule that exists in the skin, hair and the lining of the human retina, but that can be produced artificially, (melanin or polihidroxiindol) is capable of breaking the molecule water, separating the oxygen and hydrogen, and extracting energy from that process."

Very interesting find indeed. In searching for more information I came across this pdf translated in English. Not enough information to replicate, but an interesting read nonetheless.

I would hope this could be easily replicated and more information forthcoming.

Interesting stuff...and he's still alive. He better start watching his back if he wants to go "big".

Excellent find Brad 8)
"Generating Electricity - Another fundamental feature of melanin is its stability in water. This is vital for electricity generation. For instance, the first sample that we were able to extract in January 1998 began its ninth year without any kind of deterioration in January 2007. The first cells (prototypes) we made with a view to generating electricity, this year began their sixth semester producing electricity without interruption at room temperature."
Wow...it's been that long in the making ???!!!
1998 - 2010 = 12 years!
Sure hope it makes it to our benches or the store shelves soon :)
How hard can it be to replicate this tech?

Paul
I posted this info 2 or 3 weeks ago ..only this guy posted:

"The article starts with "We have achieved, for the first time".
If this actually was a report on real success they would not write the document themselves.
It should come as an unbiased test and verification report, from a well reputed institute or
university, with lots of references and contact info backing the claims.
Nor has it passed "peer review" for scientific acknowledgement.

This paper has none of the requirements and is most likely just a scammers report.
