 OK, so in a sense, we are introducing a HHO flame to a resistance creating a higher temperature then the flame it'self. By doing so, we are creating atomic hydrogen that immediately turns into water when air is present.
This reminds me of a video I seen a while back where a guy was cutting metal using HHO. As he was cutting, water was dripping off but no water was being added to account for the water dripping off. That means that we should be able to regulate the HHO pressurized flame to keep it from becoming to hot to melt the resistance but still be hotter then the flame it's self so it can fuse with air to create the water it started out as. Or, we should be able to keep the resistance cool enough to keep it from melting and or a combination of both.
Unless the fusing is what was creating the heat that melted the resistance and if so, resistance will have to be continuously added.

It has always been profoundly obvious to me that we could somehow take advantage of this HHO "flame anomoly" ,I mean How the Heck do we get from 400 degrees in ambient to 5000 degrees on Tungsten without turning up the gas??

So most of the Heat is created do to recombination. 
So i think the heat is behind the tungsten wire.

PS.  When you look at HHO torches on the net, i see also more heat generated when burning something (rock, steel etc..) as when the flame burns without any "resistance"

Maybe the flame is not a flame, but a form of electrical appearance witch react the same as electricity meeting resistance.
