My way of life is to always give the *unknown* the benefit of doubt. If it's interesting enough to me, then test the claim. The moment it the probabilities show that it's a false claim, then ... it turns into a different story!

I am against what skepticism has turned into. IMO it has become flawed. I'm just glad the court systems in the USA don't prosecute people until they data is in and after they've analyzed the data. Have an open minded & give the benefit of doubt until enough data is in and been analyzed. Just because it goes against ones belief system is not a legitimate reason to judge it as being wrong.

I salute and share your views but I know and I’m sure you also know for a fact (from joule thief tests if not from other experiments) that those measurements can be anything in the world but not “simple DC input and output”. They are heavily pulsed both at input and output. Being so, I’d expect to see at least a description of the measuring technique and at least a glimpse of those meters…Instead, one is presented only a piece of paper, which I found to be no more than a fine piece of astonishingly naive amusement.
