SOPA - A call to action for the Overunity community - PLEASE READ

Hello Overunity,

This is one of the best websites on the open Internet -- everyone here wants to push humanity out of the grasp of oil and special interests. The devices and knowledge contained on this forum represent true human creativity, and in my opinion the highest form of art we currently have on this planet.

Right now there are many scary things happening in the US government. The SOPA and Indefinite Detention bills would be able to destroy this movement in the following ways:

1) Free energy may become the victim of copyright/patent infringement, or flat out aggressive censorship

2) Free energy could be considered an enemy of the state, a financial terrorist mechanism to destabilize the current oil/corporate infrastructure

3) Inventors may get locked up for terrorist/socialist ideals, by creating "devices" that would be harmful to the current regime

4) Look at the history of this subject and the people involved -- what happened to these free thinkers, in a supposed free society?

These two bills will not only harm society as a whole, but have the potential to destroy any mechanism that would lead to its freedom or enlightenment.

I urge you all to develop a personal hard copy of this website for human history. If this site ever goes black, how would we ever recoup this knowledge? I urge the webmaster of this forum to develop a torrent so that the current state of this site can be seeded out to the world, for the future.

We all need to create a way for this movement to grow -- 2012 is upon us and we are in the dark ages. If we do nothing a new darkness will take over and we will reminisce in the past, while our future is sold out.

Keep working hard -- I will spend my holiday money on supplies and toroid cores!

Genuinely historic:  Next Wednesday we're taking it to the streets. 
The New York Tech Meetup is organizing a protest of the PROTECT IP Act (the Senate version of SOPA, the Internet censorship bill) outside of the offices of New York senators Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand. 
We're hoping for thousands of people.
