Bio-Hydrogen - a device for the production of electricity from fossil and biofuel to power individual homes, businesses or cabins is a unique Polish zero-emission technology. Gregory Wcisło' invention of Malopolska Center for Renewable Energy Sources "Bioenergy" received one of the gold medals with distinction, from the jury of the exhibition "BRUSSELS INNOVA 2012" and the World Intellectual Property Organization, the present invention OMPI recognized as the best by giving GRAND PRIX.

"Innovation is a whole group of solutions: fuel cells, reformers, and other auxiliary equipment and technology, which together allow for the production of electricity with zero carbon dioxide emissions. Byproduct is water instead of exhausted pollution. Such a device, the size of the refrigerator, in the few years will be able to buy anyone who wants to become independent from the electricity supply network "- Gregory Wcisło explains to PAP.

The inventor estimates that the price generated in this way will be an electric current of about 30 percent. now, because it comes into play for the transfer fee, and additional green energy will be subsidized by the European Union and you will receive a payment for every kilowatt-hour.

"You will be able to produce the same electricity from the fuel or biofuels, or natural gas. Device is quiet, it can become near refrigerator in the basement hallway. Gives a safety - heavy winds, storms or power system failures do not pose threats to its users. they will become self-sufficient, "- says the inventor.

Ultimately, these devices will produce electricity from fuel alcohol or biodiesel, but also from natural gas - so that the current can produce anyone who has a home gas installation.

Wcisło added that there is no competition in the market for such devices. Electricity can be produced only on diesel-powered generators, and equipment are very expensive. In pre-commercialize the invention Gregory Wcisło price is about 20 thousand zł. The final price will depend on the power unit. Patented process is already under way.

Małopolska Region Center "Bioenergy" has been in the field of biofuel technologies, with particular emphasis on the design and production of devices - unique in the world. "In our reactor over 1.5 hours can produce biodiesel fuel - diesel fuel substitute that can be used for self-propelled engines. Liter production cost of such fuel is about 3 zł" - defines Wcisło.

He explained that according to the Law on liquid biofuels and bio-components in Poland can legally produce fuel for its own purposes. They do include farmers or owners of fleets of vehicles, provided that they register and will be added to the list of producers of fuels, to meet the requirements of hardware and tax. Farmers have a limit of 100 liters of biodiesel per hectare per year or other biofuels, which in terms of energy equivalent 100dm3 diesel. Such fuel can power the drive motors engines, but it can be a sunbathing space, or use it instead of fuel oil to heat your home or greenhouse.
