Help me understand complementary push pull amp

Only way i can see it really make sense, the way he describes in the video

is with another resistor that forms voltage divider with load resistor

that biases Ve at 1/2 Vcc when both transistors are off. So as Q1 turns on Ve

can swing from 1/2 Vcc up to Vcc and when Q1 is off and Q2 on from 1/2 Vcc to 0.

He does not say it, but i remembered i read back then that answer to question above is that capacitor between two transistors and RL. When Q1 is off, power supply is obviously cut off, but the cap discharges through Q2 providing power to the load.

The idea of adding a resistor as i shown above would defeat the purpose of class B amp which unlike class A which wastes 50% power with no signal, works only when there is signal.

This was already replied back then, but if you understood sh, you would've figured
as i did and as antijon did, answer is that cap provides current for Q2 when Q1 is off. ;D ;D

And no, lower transistor will not go bang, lower transister is connected to -12V
in push-pull configuration.
