I have my ideas on how and why this works.

Form has everything to do with it. By form it is unity. We really live in a multidimensional universe.  We look at it as 3D but that is erronious. Anyways the loop presented in the video is an infinite loop twisted to also represent infinity in a working model. It is literally Broadbanded that would implicate a wide band of frequencies that it could effectively interact with. Right hand rule of thumb is only half of it. What about left hand rule of thumb? DOH!
