Ok guys, this originally appeared as a response to ZeroFossilFuels video on resonance (which is very enlightetning in itself, #102-108?? or something)

Anyways this is basically an Armstrong Oscillator or Meissner Oscillator circuit.  Here's a simple diagram...

Can anybody provide any insight on this??  What kind of fet would be needed for a 12v circuit>?
