The Bedini SG (or Bedini SSG) uses two batteries; one empty and one fairly well charged.
It then charges the empty one, and the second battery becomes slightly discharged (but
not by very much). If  you switch out the newly charged battery, and switch in another
empty one, that will charge up.

At some point, the driving battery, the one that started fairly well charged, will have depleted
to the point where you would swap it for one of the charged ones. And so on.

This is the best place to be for help on this system:

Build a battery charger, it will charge your battery forever , just dont forget to plug it to the grid before use ;)

Actually there are two systems that will do almost that [forever is a big word! :-)] one is a solar panel, another is a thermopile. Both rely on input of energy by the sun.

Low power though.

Also an aerial with HV cap and discharge system (spark gap or solidstate switch). Probably the easiest, but maybe not the safest.

But as Hans points out, forever is pretty long time! Parts will need to be maintained and or replaced from time to time. The battery is going to cave in sooner or later too.
