not "really" do that of course.

I know in the US a lot of cell phones have GPS capability ( which is why I'll never own one...I love the old GSM ) but I often wonder too if supposedly "passive" GOPS devices like car navigation GPS units do have a signature that the NSA can read from satellite? My guess is yes.

Just as windows has NSA backdoors, I guess GPS devices could be set to "ping" back to the right satellites on command.......
