hi all, first post here

hiya, had a theory about this and bedini, if i was going to build one like this but add a hub dyamo or generator on the wheel or use multiple coil pick up with magnets over the wheel to drive a electric water pump, i m more likely to go for the solar water pump as they use lower current, this will remove the mechanical spiral water pump and should use less friction.  I was thinking of using a funnel to collect water from the waterwheel to pump and use a syphon like to boost efficiency for the water to reach to the top funnel thus reducing the electric pump load and lower current, the waterwheel will more likely to be overshot and have ceramic bearings on it.
Will it be overunity, had this idea for a short while but i ll rather hear from you.

will that work, if not why (i think friction is a problem and the waterpump must be very good spec and high efficiency
