I built a bedini/cole window motor circuit, and it works just like an SSG, using a regular bifilar coil and monopole wheel.

The wheel spins fine, but has no large voltage spikes. What is the difference in timing, if any, between the regular SSG circuit, and the Bedini/Cole window motor circuit. Could anyone explain how the window motor circuit is supposed to work, bring me up to speed, as I have no experience with it. I'm just suprised it works just fine using regular parts. I DO NOT have a window motor yet :)
