Capicitor Jig

Probably posting this in the wrong forum.  I wanted to make a quick method for rolling out capacitors.  I did a quick 3d render of it for suggestions.  So far (bottom to top) - Bay 1,3 are for rolls of insulation material and Bay's 2,4 are for conductive material.  I'd like to see if there are any flaws with the design?  I need to learn quite a bit about capacitors still.  I wanted to make a gauge on the turn crank for a rough capacity/voltage meter. 
So quick overview in case I missed something:
Load Bays 1 & 3 with rolls of insulated material.
Load Bays 2 & 4 with rolls of conductive material (Foil/Tin Foil?  Would sheets of copper work?)
Feed the rolls into Roller Stack (maybe spring pressurized to hold materials in place - line up insulation so it's a 1/4" border around conductive material)
Fold materials (starting with Bay 1 material) over crank bar.  Solder copper wire to Bay 2 material, Roll some and Solder another copper wire to Bay 4 material )
Turn to required thickness ( Thickness play into voltage/capacity?)
Cut Conductive material so it's bordered by 1/4" of insulation material
Tighten Roll, Secure with tape, Break out the empty Pringles can!?

I'm probably going to electrocute myself ! 

Obviously the jig needs support.  I was going to build it with 2x6's as the rolls of material might tend to become heavy.  Anyways... I figure this is the cheapest way to produce these as I might blow a few of them up.  Let me know your comments.
