Hi all

I would like your advice for a simple HV eletrostatic resonator based on a joule thief or tesla pancake

my input source is 5v 1amp DC I wish to convert it to at least 5kv to run a smallelectrostatic motor /actuator for a precision application stepper motors are to bulky for my needs
I would like avoid having to use a ferrite core because my primary goal is a very light/compact HV transformer   it would be wonderfull if it could even be etched on a pcb.
I am open to your recommendations a pulsed DC resonator will do

PS why i needs a resonator is that I would like to transfer power wirelessly without much loss between the power supply and the actuator at a variable distance from  5 cm to 30 cm.

thanks
