This topic (the VSG) seems to have gone stagnant - and that's a shame because this effect has been clearly replicated and has a body of theory behind it developed by a physicist.

I do wonder if the Tungsten/Thorium electrode is necessary as it only produces alpha particles not gamma. There would be engineering challenges with regard to heat and maintaining the electrodes functionality.

I suspect that this promising device went idle because so much of the material is in French, which creates translation difficulties.
