My first post! I am from South Shore KY.

I dont remember how i ran across the info/video, but a fellow had used a smart drive from a washing machine to build a 700-1kw generator using water
as the engine. So obviously i wanted to get a hold of one of these stators to try it for myself using an idea i have, but getting a a hold of one of these
stators cheap is not so easy to do. So after watching many videos about diy and how to generators....i come up with not so much. Unless i want to buy
a 2ish kw low rpm generator for hundreds if not thousands....then i will just have to build one myself.

If my idea works and i think it will.... 2 kw output with only 99 watts used to spin the stator and achieve the volta/amps i am expecting. As a matter of fact,
i am shocked no one has tried this idea before. It is so stupidly simple a child can understand it. It follows the law of K.I.S.S. (keep it simple...stupid). If
successful, i have no issues sharing the designs and i will enroll for the prize.

My first order of business is to get hold of a generator that will do what i want. Ideally i want to build a generator that outputs between 2-5kw, high
output with lower rpm. I have searched and searched for plans/schematic/design for such a generator but come up empty. I know they exist because you
can buy them all over the new at wind turbine websites. A 2 kw gen would be nice if thats all i can build.

Does anyone know of a website or pdf for plans on how to build a generator like this? My biggest hangups at this time are coil size and windings and wire gauge.
I was thinking about using N50 2x1.5x0.5 magnets.

Other than claiming the prize....my plans are to give ALL info away for free as a way of saying FU to electric companies.

Any help would be appreciated.

What i need is a schematic or how to for a higher output 2 kw to 5 kw generator that operates off of low rpms. kind of like a water turbine from a stream and similar to that smart drive system. might need to google the smart drive stream turbine for more info. i simply need to know windings, gauge and magnet strength so i dont have to waste money i dont have experimenting on building a generator that already exists.
