I have some things to play with here ,a friend has shared a very simple idea  of using a Kelvin water dropper to power a sealed electrolytic Cell ,which inturn will build pressure to supply the water dropper.

1 psi pressure = 2.31 feet of water head.

use the pressure cell to supply this

That fellow raises the water 150 feet with ten foot of head,ofcourse there is no magic. however this concept will be expounded upon here with the idea being to diminish that requiered "head" hopefully to naught ?

A Kelvin water dropper an electrolytic fuel cell  some sparks some vacuum a bit of pressure.....some very special valves...!

Evolvingape has done A huge amount of work on this project ,with a good deal of that being to simplify it for others to experiment also.

I have been inspired by his selfless contribution.

The water inlet into this strange contraption is about in the middle (height wise). From this middle height water is flowing downwards and can do work because of its weight. This work is then available to suck water from the middle height further up.

The contraption is ingenious but energy wise it is like driving a pump with a water wheel: water flowing over the water wheel drives the wheel because of the weight of the water and this weight in essence provides the energy for driving a pump with the water wheel.

Note: water flowing (falling) downwards from some height can provide energy. But there was energy necessary to lift the water to the height from where it is falling or flowing downwards. If we take the water from a stream the water cycle in the atmosphere (rain, evaporation, heat from the sun) has lifted the water.
