Free Energy will change the World - Free Energy will stop Climate Change - Free Energy will give us hope
and we will not surrender until free energy will be enabled all over the world, to power planes, cars, ships and trains.
Free energy will help the poor to become independent of needing expensive fuels.
So all in all Free energy will bring far more peace to the world than any other invention has already brought to the world.

39200 Jules of energy is created when 400 grams is dropped 10 meters this equals 19600 watts.  Divide that by the amount of centimeters in 10 meters gives us 19.6 watts per centimeter of drop.  This is a huge amount of harvestable energy from just capturing the free movement of a tree.

I think that maybe you are having trouble with units and scaling: 400g dropped from 10m yields 39.2J potential energy loss.  In order to generate 19600 Watts by dropping mass from 10m height, you need to drop:  19,600N*m/s *1/10m*1kg/9.8N = 200kg/s.  Think of that as a little more than 50 gallons of water per second falling from the top of a three story building.

Great edit Mark,  thank you.   If we use material found in forests like old logs as weights that should not be difficult to find and use as the dead weight.   I am excited about this work and am going to do some hands on time getting data gathered.  It does NOT mean anyone interested about this to just stop seeking.  You can also work on this project.  The basis shows there is a huge amount of energy to be returned using this method, so let's see what the group mind can do.
