Yeah, there is not a lot of info on the Tong wheel. Only what is in Patricks Book. http://free-energy-devices.com/Chapter2.pdf


I see the original Tong wheel had 'air cores' but im thinking ferrite cores would be better. What are peoples experience with this? Its all a trade off i suppose. I think the pickup coils definitely need ferrite cores

I plan to use it to drive my mechanical assembly that will drive a PMA with MPPT circuit.
I am not sure if it will work but I am running out of ideas ;D

They are very different. You should try what the designer specified first and then experiment later.

Hi there, does anyone know will the back emf generated when the magnet moves away from coils drag the Tong Wheel and stops its movement?
