It is obviously a fake, he even says so. notice the electromagnet on the right.

I would not say it is fake, it is a Hamel Spinner and that is how it works.

Instead of holding the top magnet in his hand like most people do, he has just placed it on some rollers, but he has to keep moving it to keep the middle magnet spinning. It will keep going until he runs out of floor or stops moving the top gate  ;D
