Nice Newman replication!

There are definately alot of nice duplications on Youtube,
but I have never seen one with this kind of speed!!!

to drive a permanent magnet alternator for some big gains!

I agree, I have seen only a few Newman Motors spinning that fast. That is not enough to make it a good motor to drive a generator or alternator. What you don't see in the video is that the motor has very low torque, you can stall it with very light pressure. That guy made a 4 in one unit which is awsome along with many other reproduction.
The torque problem is easily remedied but the solution is very costly. You need a big and heavy magnetic rotor and a bigger coil with at least 5 miles of magnet wire. The motor is a low rpm type because the rotor has to be big and big don't spin fast. The commutator is the last important part that can set the torque value from high to low.
I recommend doing one or two prototypes before building a big unit. That way you can learn hands on its mysteries, its weakness and its qualities.

Newman?s motor runs when electronic commutator as well  ::) - no Carbon-Fusion, no Copper-Sparks are needed ::)
Principle about why it runs is hopefully glear for every gearhead when any knowledge about Lenz rules, about motor principles ...
On the videos you can see even added "power-station" (was spanish lanque ? ;-) - OK, it is very primitive but anyway,
At that well built unit like many anothers - well built - this is I like!   And like always - loaded maximum with LEDs ... and of course nobody intereasted about output current  ;)
This is amazing that all ?inventors` measure just voltages when we are speaking about output. It does not matter what is output voltage without measured load!
I like to see loaded Newman? set up !!!
For example input voltage x...V, input amperage 0.05A,
Output voltage  n...V  when no load (0,00A) and output voltage z...V when amperage is 0.01A...0.1A...0.2A...0.9A...1A ... and so on,
What will happend with Input amperages then? How fast your setup stops at all? Myself I do believe that it stops very soon - sooner as you might think :o
Why up till today it is not done? Nobody wants to get bad temper ???

These are all ways to state one WATT of usable energy. Voltage is never insignificant of itself, neither is amperage. It is only insignificant if you mistakenly remove it from its relation with amperage. It is only unusable, in the sense that at certain levels of voltage it becomes difficult to convert to a lower voltage with higher amperage. I didn't say impossible, I said difficult.
