Has anyone heard from Hans von Lieven lately?

Yes, I believe Koen1 is correct.  I started this topic to see if anyone knew Hans personally or lived near him to check on his health.  We have done that.  Hans has e-mailed me.  He has posted here. He is fine.  There is no need to stalk the man. My goal was not to make him come back to this, or any other forum.  He will when/if he wants to.  I wanted to make sure he was ok and we have done that.  Thanks again to all who helped here.

I did mark your words in red,that you can see what causes me to think
that you brought the term "stalk" in to the conversation.
Be shure,that english is not my first language,and i use it in a lousy way.Sorry for that.
But also know that stalking is threatened with punishment in my country.
And yes,i quoted just the part in your post,that i want to discuss.
There was nothing wrong with your post and dont give thanks to me about
the investigation,that we have tried.I did it for Hans.

In the interest of avoiding any further confusion, I modified the post in question as follows: "There is no need to start stalking the man."   Start being the operative word here.  I had no idea it could be taken in any other way other than the spirit in which I intended while posting it. But, English is my only language and I forget sometimes that for many on here this is not so.

And yes, stalking is a crime in my country as well.  As a licensed Investigator, I deal with it quite a bit.  I even have people attempt to stalk me once in a while, but it never works out for them. (Well, at least so far anyway)

Tonight, I will drink a toast once again to Hans, and also, to all those who care about his well being.
