A now a 7.2 and a 7.5 earthquake just off the coast of Indonesia...Tsunami warnings for west Papua New Guinea.

It was called Mel's Hole, and a team of people in Seattle searched for it for the past decade. Mel's Hole, the reincarnation and burning ice all turned out to be yet another hoax, like most of the stuff on Coast to Coast. Mel didn't count on Google Earth and tools like it, or a bunch of people who would actually go and look for his mythical hole.

I am not saying this isn't a hoax, it almost certainly is, but I would not put too much stock in Google Earth maps. These maps are EDITED.

For instance military installations are airbrushed out or substituted with something else, so are any other features that the powers that be do not want us to see.

And it's especially interesting when the *edits change* and/or the *updates stop* -- these are data-points by themselves...  (for instance, the LANL geosynchronous particle flux data, available daily until early January 2007...)  (sorry-- i think it's my fault)  Screw stealth!  bust them openly and maybe somebody will learn a thing or two!
