I'm writing a book that ends up involving free energy and antigravity!!!

Okay, the main reason why I joined this forum is to get a little bit of information but I also wanted to participate as well. I need the information for a book series that had been stewing in my brain for the last 7 years or so. I've finally started to write things down and so far I'm looking to write at least 4 or 5 books. I think you all will get a kick out of it.

In fear of someone who may steal my idea I won't be able to go into too much detail. I can say though that the lead character is an amatuer inventor who ends up creating a free energy device. It will be either a gravity wheel or a gravity sphere but either one will function the same. I'm hoping to not only make my book a reality but also the inventions themselves a reality.

My story begins somewhere between the year 2000 and 2003 depending on the timescale that I end up going with. I would like to know what information and which message topics were available to someone during that time. I want these books to be as realistic and factual as possible but I will stretch the truth a bit if I have to for the sake of the story. My character will do some research online and may actually build a few concepts available during that time. Ultimately he'll come up with his own solution which will yield enough power to create a large enough EMP to disable an automobile.

This may be a rather tall order to ask for but if anyone can help I feel that I can find that person here. I'd like to weed out as many of the scams as possible but then again my lead character will have to struggle though some of those scams efore finding the answer. I also want to use the book to give credit to the ones who are actually trying to advance our knowledge on these subjects. Whether or not my theories are correct or not isn't my main concern. I hope that if I can make what you are all doing here more mainstream the world will benefit from it in the end.

On a side note I'm having a difficult time writing on this forum. It seems that when my post becomes a certain length the scroll bar insists on jumping up a few lines. The curser stays put but I cannot see what I'm writing because it keeps jumping up and down. Maybe I'll just have to write what I want to say on my PC and then copy and paste it here.

Maybe I came to the wrong place or placed this topic in the wrong sub-forum? Then again I probably didn't give enough details for anyone to want to take part in this topic. Okay, I'll give in a give out more info but not before I see some interest. I will however give you a rough idea of what relates to it and this took me awhile to figure out. Try putting together the movie Smokey and the Bandit, and the TV shows Weeds and MacGyver together and that makes up the 1st book. The 2nd book is more like a combination of Iron Man, Knight Rider, and the movie Real Genius. The 3rd book is harder to compare to anything besides maybe the plots to Stargate, Rocky, and Phenomenon but the subject matter is a lot different. The 4th book is even harder to explain and I'll not even try to just yet.
