I have 5 magnet gates, not spiral but similar issue.

When 1 is going through the repulsive wall, the other 4 are in mid power stroke.
Perhaps with flywheel effect and "some" current in coils I can get through.

It may not be free, but I am looking for at least "reasonable" energy.

My guess is it may be a little better than Flynn Parallell path?

I have built the core and inner case of motor and starting/struggling with outer rotors.
The cost of emachineshop.com is about 700.00 each, and I need 2.

I sent a message out to Clanzer for CNC work, but he is much too busy.   =(

Frankly, I think you should use that small amount of energy to pass the gate, to run something else. You'll probably spent energy more effichient that way. However, magnet motors are indeed a very interesting subject - even if I have made up my mind about them. There are a few examples (@Honk is one of them) with designs that might change my mind.

Hi LowQ. Nice to see you are still confident in my design.
Lot's have happened and I'm close to finished now.
It has been a long road to walk. I have designed and built everything from scratch.
And there have been several redesigns and improvements taking a lot of time.
Soon I'll tell the story on my struggles to reach the goal.
